I find myself I am alone in my cell

A cross hangs tall on the wall it’s my lord

And I need the pain to wash out my sins

And I feel I’m graced, I will cleanse my soul

Screaming from the bottom of the pit

Through pain I search and seek my soul

Bleeding all my torture is self inflict

Starting to believe I see my god

In search of ecstasy

I heard all the saints are calling my name

Am I a holy man

Mortification of my flesh

Praying for a sign to show the way

The silence makes me doubt my faith

Ripping all my flesh down to the bone

I can see the light it starts to glow

I bleed and I bleed and I bleed in vain

To see the sign I need

I hear all the martyrs are praising my name
