My heads under water but I ain’t breathin fine

Submerged & intertwined within a man’s panicked mind

Trying to make it in a game thats being redefined

And redesigned by the underground so that we can shine

Hell I’m just trying to get in and out with a piece of mind

Peace in mind history as rap becomes a piece of mine

I confided inside the people that I recognized as family

You saved me when it came to me you improvised

And you sympathized when I felt I was poisoned

After popping the pills that me and my Dr. had chosen

Night after night you woke up whats all the commotion

Just to find me panicked in the kitchen with ibuprofen

A mind set where pain relievers stopped all the corrosion

Of my brain that was overflowing with these emotions

But now I’m back and I’ve chosen to take back what was stolen

And reassemble the pieces of me that once was broken

A disorder that tore me apart mentally

How am I a friend if you can’t even come vent to me

I promise I was listening there was no convincing me

That I wasn’t history fuck look at what it did to me

And when I thought there was no fixing me

Or fixing the issues you loved me unconditionally
