I lay my head down on the track again

yeah they say the whistle blows for me

but I don’t hear it as it comes my way

I see the moon its shining through the trees

and as a fog rolls through the night

I feel a push and then I’m blowing through the breeze

and as my body falls on through the sky

about what I have gone and left behind

I’m a snake on the ground

I’m some birds flying alone in the dark

I’m a bear chewing through my leg to get free

I’m a tiger with a knife buried in my back

I’m a wolf running scared because

There’s just this trail that I have set my feet upon
