The faith is gone, it’s buried under lies

Truth is in the shadows, but it’s darker than this hole

Feelings pushed back down, the veins don’t pump no more

Winter comes and expectation rises

Intoxication kicks in when I embrace you

I only beckon you when you are needed

The need for acceptance is admitted

Abandon me

Return when I’m in need

Selfishness is self-hatred

With your eyes against the sun

You’re not only hurting yourself, everyone around you is blinded too

This is not the end, this could be the beginning

Mother tell me, what are my mistakes

Have I wronged anyone, do I deserve this

Hollowness inside, eyes grow darker every day
