I was reading her a passage

From the Kama Sutra

Through a magnifying glass

I was asking her a question

About male oppression

When she says to me «I thought you’d never ask»

Now it is raining and I’m walking home

I’m saying to myself «I told you so»

There are some places even a brave man can’t go

At least without a coat

April is the cruelest month

But she shouldn’t have to be this cruel

April has betrayed my trust

Would you look at what I’ve turned into

April’s fool

April is the kind of girl you

Like to tell your secrets to

She turns around and laughs

I became suspicious

When I read them in the papers

I said «This affair will never last»

Some guy in uniform says «I don’t know you»

I said «I don’t know you, but how do you do?»

He said «Everyone here’s heard what you’ve put her through»

«Men, off with his head»

April is the cruelest month

But she shouldn’t have to be this cruel

April has betrayed my trust

Would you look at what I’ve turned into

Every year, I’m the spring’s worst example

Flower’s grow sometimes just to get trampled

April, I was kidding

When I told you I was human

I’m a barely mortal man

I won’t mistakes next time

I’ll read you Kama Sutra

I’ve got Vishnu in my hands

Just as I say it the Vishnu appears

He’s off with my girl and I’m left with my tears

There’s practically no sense in lingering here

But I don’t know how to leave
