I had a dream the other night

It felt like real life

And I saw everyone,

I saw everyone, living in houses by the streams

There were no gates

There were no fences

Everyone left their door unlocked

And all the people were on their own

But they didn’t feel alone.

Because alone was not something known

No one was forgotten

No one was afraid

Nobody woke up in tears

I saw all of the animals

The horse laid with the antelopes

And I saw the peace of God

Ascending like a mist

Yeah the Lion next to the Lamb, oh my God.

There were people bringing each other gifts

Not made out of guilt or paper or tricks

Just out love for one another.

And all the awkward moments faded just as they had come

The farmer went to plow his field

The work was already done

Children sang such beautiful songs

Not about all being alone,

Not singing fear,

But the rising up from the graves which they have come
