Your vacant eyes peering into the soft blue light

This unfamiliar glare, it blocks me out, I’m blinded

I reach for a hand to guide me through the shifting land below

The walls are closing in

I feel the cold embrace of dust, we rise, and dust we part

I hear my voice

Speak through the walls of stone

When I saw you leave

I felt you go

I saw a spot of light

Blinding from a distance

No more resisting it

So I speak up
