Waiting for my cosmopolitan

In a godforsaken lounge

Smell of demons

Blended in this fall

Color fading

Compromises led me here tonight

I see bodies with no face

Just another day in paradise

Sings the radio

We are the angels' enemies

Heaven holds a place for those who dance

We left our wings inside the cage

And I can feel this memory

My hair was long

My fear so small

Vibrating, pounding energy

Twisted dream or just a fairy tale

A broken vinyl spinning slow

My residence is in reality

A pile of dusty rugs…
