It was a long and cold nigh

Still hear the sounds in my mind

Like death crying for each single soul

Like stories unwritten, unreal

I feel the rain falling on motionless leaves

Wonder why I can’t close my mind

To all the things around me, to all the things

To all the things that I miss

But time is wasting

And we only cry

Still time is wasting day by day

Maybe surrender is the answer

But not today, surely not here

We have to go on and on

And never fall in endless tears

You know life’s not forever

We have to live, to fight, to die

But now it’s time to stand up and brave the day

Time to prove that we are real

But time is wasting
