Staring at the sun waiting for the day

When oceans part their shores with a serenade

When mountains crack the earth for the world to show

That our souks are as cold as the falling snow

Begging ant the moon praying for the night

When ghosts collect their flesh with a candlelight

When wolves gather the stones to remind us all

That our hearts are as blind as the rising wall

Watching people sigh as they pass me by

Staring at the sun, it burns so bright

Will we ever look so will we ever find

Begging at the moon, it chills my spine

No-one ever stays, no-one ever goes

You’ll put it in a place that I’ll never know
