As the wind loses his strength after a storm

I undress my will

I let the breath of life blow on me

I feel safe in the unknown

My aura spreads wide outward

Reaching those gates

I can’t bring myself to walk to

I tie my hair to a dead tree

With each knot I exhale discord

With each knot I inhale transparency

Until I’m left at peace

Staring at my reflection on the clouds running above

Thoughts filter through me

I purge out any trace of them

Claiming my own being

I refuse to blend in

And I accept to exist

I just exist

Like a dead leaf on water

I let currents decide directions

Like mold on a stone

I’ll live through anything that comes my way

The pulse behind any move

Is the electric fire life commands

I challenge my lungs to overcome the smoke

I’m still and centered like a stone

But my body keeps bursting into flames

And just when I will be ashes

It means I have fought back enough

I bring my heartbeat down to silence

I envision a white square

And its sides fading to nothing

I enter the realm of blankness

And feel my bones turning into dust

Air draws through me

Charcoal fumes take my place

Being nothing

I’m all I need to be
