We are losing sight of the values laid at our feet,

Treading unknown waters leading us to defeat.

Mindset forged by hands unknown, miles away no place to call home.

Resting easy was never an option.

I’ve seen the light, I wasn’t impressed.

I’ve found my peace without their duress.
