Trained, armed and shipped away

Told to make some commies pay

Head to toe in army green

From boy to man, and just 16

Day and night the fighting raged

Who’re the ones who really paid?

Decades later in his bed

He’s killing people in his head

Can’t forget all of the blood

Is punishment this endless rut?

A prison inside of himself

All the had to say is «war is hell»

Endless slaughter, freezing cold

He always did what he was told

Another shot to kill the pain

Of millions dead and all in vain

It never truly left his head

He almost envies all those dead

Barely survived the brutal 3 year tour

But still a prisoner of that war
