Eyes like a lagoon

Body like a two month old balloon

As we lay here like a spoon, next to a spoon

Inside your room

Makes no sense to sleep

It’s far too hard to keep my body close to yours

If I could turn these sweaty palms to ragged claws

And my body like a disrepaired and poorly made punk statue of a pear
