Dying Words - In the Verse

The extreme appeal of this place

Is underestimated on a daily basis

As millions of minds simply float in stasis

Specifically to those who’ve expelled the idea of a God that’s not yourself

Well for you then, this isn’t gonna end well

Promises that you can’t keep

Sowing seeds that you won’t reap

Wasting everybodys lives who believed in your lies

Your never-ending story has lost its fabricated glory

So how will you stand to defend the hatred on which you depend?

All you’ve known are feelings and perception of your heart

But what you haven’t seen is that’s the place that every pupil starts

It’s not too late to turn around but it very soon will be

So stop floating in space and return to gravity

Let go of everything of all you think you know

Repent to the God that sinks for your contempt

Return to the door of our Father

Better not before it’s closed forever

As I’m nearer to deciding which final breath I’ll choose

These are my dying words to you

Well I see that’s a mighty big pill to swallow

That you spent your days doing nothing but wallowing

In your own excuses for living how you did

But just because the God that made us gave us free will

Doesn’t spell hiatus from living out the life He wants us too

I know that you’ve been through a lot and it hurts

And that’s part of who you are

But don’t let them plant you from the truth

And transbetter from a star

There’s a God that loves us all

And a Savior waiting to come in

Don’t hurt from him just hand over your sin
