From doing nothing

Which voids the urgency

To make the changes in my life

I’ve been meaning to make

Since I learned to

Disappoint myself

I found my place

In the universe

Then stopped giving life any effort

Handed a better life

Than I could deserve

But I’ll still complain

Cuz I got the nerve
