Let me get a throne in a castle

So I could feel like stones in a statue

The imagery’s effected by the glow

But we ain’t dead inside tell me why they wanna wrap you

Yeah, and when ego arrives

It’s like we’re buried underground and we’re screaming alive

And all the stars up in the sky that be thinking they’re great

They don’t seem to understand that there’s nothing in space

And when they fall back to earth it’s finally when they realize

That the only truth they’ve been living is real lies

They stand still with conviction

Llike a monument that’s having trouble thinking

But when the light fades

That’s the only time they ever see the right way

When the walls cave in and the statues fall down

Maybe that’s when everyone will see a slight change

They all stand still while we could see

Their souls fall out and then it turns to decay

I wonder if the cracks show

Will they ever really look at how the glass folds?

Will they really ever see just how the past goes?

And how it’ll haunt them forever till the ash blows?

And if they could only see what was sacred

They would figure out exactly how to place it

These statues are carved out in a town where everybody is cold

And only knows how to be basic

Yeah, like they’re stuck in a museum

I guess it depends on how you see em

They don’t even need an anvil

No matter what they’ll always remain a stand still
