I wish I could be there

When your brain stops working

When your mind needs someone

Who gets it, to just sit there

And I can tell you

That I’ve felt blank too

But it’s not the same as just sitting in case you need someone to listen

And I hope you that you know

I tried to fight the feelings in L. A

I got too close and now I’m only ever wanting to keep you safe

And I know you’d rather bottle it up

It’s close and going to erupt

I’ve got a lot of ideas but no grand proposal

I guess I just want to say, I’m happy that I get to know you

I wish I could be there just to tear off the tension

When the windows blow out and your whole world is spinning in suspension

But I know, that you know

I tried to fight the breaking with blooming

All in to save this home

I never saw the strength in assuming

Now I know that asking is tough

More-so when I keep bringing it up

I’ve got a lot of ideas, all at our disposal

As long as you don’t forget
