Such a beauty lies within this moment

To taint it and breathe again seems a torment

I feel this as I hold you close to me

In you I have found a higher unity

A purpose to life beyond myself

An end to visions of a selfish hell

And while states decline and cities fall

Our love will live on and stand eternal

Each moment with you as perfect as the last
