Police man stepping on my foot

With his heals so I won’t run

He said I’m suspected of a robbery

That happened down on Lexington

I told him I was on my way home

From the store and I worked all day

Then I was thrown in the back seat of his car

And my rights were read

As the cuffs dug deep into my skin

And my wrist began to bruise

I looked to the Most and asked Him

For strength to get me through this one time

And look up to the Most High
