I Believe - Madness

Running from the chapel bells, in worlds of my own

I’m heading for the glass house to watch the things I’ve grown

Oh I know I caused an outrage, in my Sunday best

But I decide on my belief, and you can have the rest

I don’t look at you judgmentally, or in a scornful way

But this lonely heart survives as it beats from day to day

So should I grasp attention or suffocate my mind

This is me unknowing, just in my pants and vest

And I decide in who I confide, and you just failed the test

Well come and watch me jump up, over St. Paul’s at noon

Throw a freaky bogus dance, across the face of the moon

This is my belief
