I can hear it in the wind

A lonely sound reminding me of where I’ve been

How my life flickered out as I fell down to that pit

Now suddenly I’m standing there

I’m back to where that shadow formed from thin air

This reflection of me that I thought could never be

That face in the mirror took my place

And I felt oblivion when the other came
