We sought out the scene

There were leaves on the ground from the cold winter breeze

A habitual ritual

A tribute to the spirits of old

The fire was warm

Our hearts were cold

They asked me how I came to be like this

So lonesome and so strange

I scoffed and pulled my cloak around my fragile, teenage frame

I never had a chance, this world was never meant for me

I put my faith in outer space
