See the sun shining true

Shining right through stained glass windows

Pouring all the ink of rainbows 'cross the room

Holy green, holy blue

Holy gold, and red, and violet

Holy stillness, holy silence, holy truth

With wings the size of day

Look how the time just flies away

Sometimes I don’t mind, sometimes I cry

Sometimes in the afternoon

I will close my eyes and think of you

And even when the sky is stained with grey

Have a happy holiday

And may your star burn brighter everyday

Every dawn, every dusk

Every snowflake turns to raindrops

And His burning hymns all melt into a hush

See our love, it remains

And it shines through stained glass windows

Painting every-colored echoes on our days

With wings they fly away

Like each and every Christmas day
