I’m glad we divided this town so we won’t see eachother around

From the Hollywood sign way down to the beach

You get the west and I’ll take the east

I tried to stay in Miracle Mile after you left

At least for a while

Now I think it was all a mistake so I’m moving back to Silverlake

I know that it’s not that far

I’ve missed the air and the resevoir

And right now it’s time for a change

I’m leaving today and I’m gonna stay in Silverlake

I guess I’ve lived all over this town

I felt so lost and never felt found

I’m comfortable living somewhere in between

At least here I can finally breathe
