Violent thoughts permeate the air

On a flooded vessel beyond repair

I’m plagued by silent fights and vindictive stares

Dreaming of a place anywhere but here

Lost in despair

Forever altered I’m sinking into

The wretched abyss that was once my home

But what can I do?

The stifled voices of reason

Are barely audible

Our bodies covered in lesions

Feeding toxic habits to ease my mind
