There is a quest

And a long way ahead

They say journeys are more important than destinations

You are going out there before the revision

Even if it probably leads nowhere

The answers are not as intriguing as the questions

You are full of desire full of expectation

Sometimes you wish it would last forever

But you are dreaming awake

And you are falling down

Open your eyes before you hit the ground

At all the places you have been

And all the wonders you have seen

Where did they take you?

You are hanging onto a dream

You won’t fulfill

Sometimes loving the way it makes you fail

They pull you out and you jump back in

The craving deep I know you are scared

There is no right there is no wrong

Out of sight but we play along

You don’t have much to say but so much to express

You feel up the day feel up the emptiness

There was a quest and some light was shared

You went out there to follow your vision

And it definitely led somewhere

But you went astray and you are lost
