The Maze - Overtures

In every way I look I can only see the dark,

like there is nothing left to do,

but still I feel a chance, so… go!

I tried to get away from here,

to dream of somewhere safe:

I only found a wall of flesh and bones along my way.

Like many others I am lost, another one who failed.

Round and round and round again:

this wheel won’t make a change…

But then as I gaze at the sky

whispering words of faith,

lost in this wheel of time I just can contemplate.

Forward, forward!

We pray, ‘cause all we need is finding another way!

Hopes are fading away,

the world of today is lost inside a maze.

No one ever told you

that your dreams are simply like some clouts,

and when you look around, awake, you see… there's no way out!

One day I’ll see the light beyond the darkness of this walls.

That day I’ll see the truth lost by entering this world.

But then, as I gaze at the sky whispering words of faith,

I hope in a shelter from time.

Lord, take me away…
