Weighing all of your problems on the shoulders of someone else.

Spitting poison you call your words of wisdom.

How can one be expected to move on with so much weight on each step?

With bound hands and tied tongues, we beg only to scream,

free from your judgment.

Promises now revealed to be empty.

Left to believe

that the world is nothing more than your spiteful words.

And the path you take is going nowhere.

Your hatred blinds you.

How can one be expected to have a heart without an ounce of compassion?

I won’t be dragged down any longer.

I feel the sunset on my back

but I’ll make it through the night I’m moving forward.
