A different smile upon her face

He’s proud to be a part of it all

A welcome from the human race

A world so big and one that’s so small

You see they’ve come so very far

Today a boy, tomorrow a man

Then suddenly an element of chance

Night falls on his town

The colours blend and dance

He’s breaking in, no time to go back

There must be some way out

Making life easy — hear him shout it out

His father can’t believe his ears

His mother stands with tears in her eyes

No child of theirs could be so wrong

Deep down inside a part of them dies

You see they tried so very hard

But just can’t see that’s
