When the expedition had finished with fresh blood

The night before had come

The stars were at their brightest

And glowing towards angry hornets

The watch, and the rat holes had been maintained

But the watchers have shifted to the hill slope above the holes

They squatted there, for rather a month and a few

Lining the damp with whisky, the others rest in the house

The three leaders discussed

And that’s where the men who rose once in the night

Assumed there’s a clear to the debts

Everyone sunk the rat hole sinkholes

Started off and set a fire, lead by the Czar towards the wasp’s nest

BANG, BANG, BANG!

A sequence of shouts

A long silence, hey, hey!

And then stillness

Kensington!

The worthy rats
