I turn my head to see him, I guess it’s him or me

It’s so different how they told me it wold be

I remember we were trained, it’s so easy when you hate

But I wonder if he has a family

I know that you can see me, I feel you coming near

What made you into my enemy?

I am shaking, my vision starts to blur

I wonder if this will be my last day on earth

I feel a cold shadow coming down close

Right here beside me the silence explodes

For maybe the last time I cover my eyes

I’ve never been a hero, not even for one day

So why did God pick me out and leave me in this way

A couple of steps and a couple of thoughts

Not long enough to put right waht I have done wrong

That sound is so familiar, did he do it?

I see a thousand stars, I hear mankind scream

I feel cold shadow, coming down near

Right here beside me, plays with my fear

And for the last time I cover my eyes

I will do it better next time, but for now it’s said and done

Lying here forgotten, scared and alone

To fight for a world where there is space for everyone
