Trapped -

Wasn’t she the one who’d never lie to me?

Was it me who had her heart?

Now I fill the time

Once spent with her, saying goodbye to me

Like a bird that that just falls from the sky

We’re gone

Looking in her eyes I thought I saw it all

How it was supposed to be

Then I watched the color

of those eyes just go from green to gone

How I could let this all happen to me

we’ll see

Suddenly the shades will fall

And she’ll be trapped in the room where I found her

I’d love to tell you I’ll be gone

But I’m still trapped in a world all around her

How a heart can change I’ll never understand

All at once a world goes dark

Like trying to find an

algebraic answer for a broken heart

Some day she will come looking for me

Here I’ll be

Someday her sky will fall

In shades of indigo gray all around her

I wish to hell I’d be long gone

As I revolve like the moon all around her
