heaven

أصْبَحْتُ فِيهِ فَرِيدَ عَصْرِي Thus I became peerless in my time

بَيْنَ الْوَرَى حَامِلاً لِوَائِي Carrying my banner among one and all

لِي مَذْهَبٌ مَذْهَبٌ عَجِيبٌ Mine is a wondrous path, an unsurpassed path

بِالْحُسنِ قَدْ فَاقَ يَا هَنَائِي How great is its radiance and my delight

therein

يَا مَنْ هُمُ لِلْجَمِيلِ أَهْلٌ O you, who are worthy of beauty

إِنْ لَمْ تَمُنُّوا فَيَا شَقَائِي If you do not give me your favor freely,

I am wretched

حَشَاكُمُ يَا أَُهَيْلَ نَجْدٍ People of Najd, far be it from you

أَنْ تَقْطَعُوا مِنْكُمُ رَجَاَئِي To cut the ties of hope that bind us

يَا مَنْ هُمُ لِلْجَمِيلِ أَهْلٌ O you, who are worthy of beauty

إِنْ لَمْ تَمُنُّوا فَيَا شَقَائِي If you do not give me your favor freely,

I am wretched

لِي مَذْهَبٌ مَذْهَبٌ عَجِيبٌ Mine is a wondrous path, an unsurpassed path
