My body is always screaming

A thousand voices strong

My heart and my mouth are bleeding noise

It’s a simple fact of what I am

And my body is always burning

Stare at me and go blind

My ears and eyes all bursting bright

It’s a scorching tide

It’s a battering ram

Cover my face and sever these hands

I’m a side effect of a deathless roar

My lungs are a suffering engine
