A Prison Without Walls -

Break the chains

I look at the world around me and see thousands of prisoners

In a prison without walls

They are prisoners of their lust,

And are slaves to their desires,

They speak of freedom as slaves

And they dream of life but choose death.

And the worst thing is that in my vision

They cannot see the walls of their prison

Those walls of resentment and fear,

Those walls of unbelief and lie.

And now I see there are people who are tired of the gloom,

But God will set them free.

I hear the sound of their prayers and songs,

Hear us, oh God, and save us, Almighty,

Deliver us from all our bonds.

And here I see a bright light dispersing the darkness

And breaking the shackles of people

They are free.

I see a Man who was crucified

But rose again on the third day

Brought salvation to the world with his nail-punched hands,

Bestowing us healing and reviving our hope.

Call upon the Lord, and He will deliver you,

And all the walls of fear will fall.
