Around me

Resounds the horn of desperation!

Eternal crying

Across the ranks of lives denied.

I’m still dazed

After the clash of arms.

That swept away

All my valiance!

There’s no hope!

There’s no faith!

There is no god close to me!

Only rust and barren lands

Covered by scarlet blood

Of whom lies on the ground

Fright treads on me!

The roar of horse hooves

Comes from the hills

While they are raiding my land

Fire treads on me!

Under the armor

My flesh is burning

I can smell the stench.

Under a shower of arrows

That covers the sky to my wide open eyes

Someone

Moves forward

Victims of strain!

A flickering light

Sweetly perish by the weight of ashes

Ravens flies upon the rests of my friends

No one will ever sing these men’s deeds

Chased by beasts with ravenous eyes

We run for miles

Tyrants are upon us!

Standards with eagles are frightening us

They will pierce us with their spears!

Condemned to live

In a mist of regrets

My body is worn out,

But my eyes are still wide!

The words that my father

Told me in that field

Now awakens my pride,

The force comes to me!

Hope in my eyes

Decives my mind

There’s no way to save my life!

The fear will rise!

Consumed by crying

There’s no day after this night

Fear weaves it’s web!

Now the ropes are tied around my neck!

Ravens flies upon the end of my strength

No one will ever sing

This man’s ordeal!

Lady of the dawn,

Caress my lips

And close my eyes!

Pianto di Strigi erte sui rami

Gelide lame hanno trafitto le mie carni

I miei arti strappati

Ora cibo per corvi
