All this time

Like sand running through

Our open palms

We fail to grasp

As we haunt for life

Beyond our reach

And still we

Choose not to believe that we are

The ones to blame

The ones who hold

Our fates in our hands

With the flowing sand

Consuming mindless worms

Feeding on fear

Crawl

This castle we’re building

This castle we hope will harbor all that

We think we are and what we’ll be

Is made of quicksand

Is made with the grains we can’t see running

Through the hourglass we can’t turn

So we keep on

Fooling our sense of what is real

And what we made up ourselves

To have something to measure, to count for In the end

And so we give ourselves away

With every hour, every blink of an eye

This tower I hide in

This tower I’ve build with all my pride is

Nothing but a pile of straws

Now I see how

It was made to collapse from the

Impact of truth

Vain drones

We waste ourselves
