It’s been 3 years now

since we had our last talk

You were lying in this hospital bed

You 've lost control of anything

This phantom pain was always there

Your body bound to the wheelchair

These catheter were stuck to your veins

but these machines couldn’t keep you alive

I never went to church again

since the day of your funeral

'cause of the feelings overwhelming me

That I never had the chance to say goodbye

You pulled yourself out of these machines

You' ve lost your will to survive

Until the moment where we will meet

maybe days or maybe years
