Beyond what we perceive

Is this grey world that we see

More real than the dreams we seek?

How I long to be real

To know the endless truth that mountains know

Must I end to feel such timeless peace?

For there is none in the grey

Only masks, only words without meaning

Truth, it bleeds from words of madness

Beyond what we perceive

They showed me their truth

A concrete monolith that cast no shadow

But slowly I see the intangible is uncorrupted

I’ll leave this place

To walk in worlds that never were

To mourn what never was

For only this is real
