What should be a joyous shared experience becomes their opportunity to molest

When I was watching a band and I was unable to fight off his hands

Paralyzed by the shock of forceful attention that I didn’t want

Is this just what happens at shows?

Is this a depressing rite of passage for every music loving girl?

Just because we’re at a gig that doesn’t mean that you can touch us

How do we make it stop?

Because even if we do report

They say our claims are invalidated

By a lack of «hard evidence», then they wonder why the victims feel silenced

If it’s in a dark alley or it’s in a mosh pit, it’s still sexual assault,

how do we stop it?
