How would I arrange my flowers?

Water lilies floating atop the streams without making a sound

Magnolia, save me

Shade me with your beauty until my skin brightens to ivory

Peonies, oh would you please stay here and talk to me?

Your layers of soft petals

It seems like we’d relate

I’ve never had my own secret garden before

I’d grow it so full and free

But the walls ar the sweet irony

In the space of your masterpiece

Restrained from the rules of an estranged society

You surround me

When I don’t see
