It was an ominous awakening built into a dream

With the back of heads in view

Not a single sight foreseen

Chest beating through a par-alytic state

I’m conscious but seemingly not awake

To a world I can’t possibly want to be hereafter

My soul’s keeper

The flesh that binds

Paralyzed

Barred in time to dwell in your ploys

Death, your sword is made of the ashes of what once was

The bread I consume prepares me for battle

Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance in what we do not see

As my soul rescinds to it’s keeper

I’ll find hope in the place that we grieve
