Age of the Raven - The Raven Age

It’s the age of the raven and now they are spreading their wings

With just one thing in their minds they burn and destroy everything

In a cloud of aggression they swoop to take their prey again

As they’re circling the air their dark shadows are cast over me

Will they take me?

Will they take them?

Will they take us all as their victims?

If you show them the fear in your eyes, you will never be free

Do we stand up and fight them or run and hide never be seen?

As you stare at the city, the place is a burial ground

Left in hiding are those who are hunted, don’t dare make a sound

Will they pray for me?

Will they take them?

Will they take us all as their victims?

Will God answer me, hear my prayers now?

Will He save me from this hell on earth?

Now do I save myself?

Put it all behind and leave everyone else to die?

As they’re being eaten alive

And they take out their eyes, leave them blind

This time I fight

I must search within myself and find whatever it takes to survive

Never facing my fears always turning to run

But this time I will overcome

In the distance we hear them the ravens preparing to fly

And the thunder of wings getting closer reign down from the sky

The invasion of black is a dark cloud that covers the sun

Now the darkness descending upon us there’s nowhere to run

Will they pray for me?

Will they take them?

Will they take us all as their victims?

Will God answer me, hear my prayers now?

Will He save me from this hell on earth?

Now do I save myself?

With all this bloodshed and crying I beg for the end
