As he puts some clean socks on And looks into the mirror he pops all his greasy spots on He hums along to a cheesy rock song

So later that night mike took her to this Italian place in Queens-way

She had the pizza

And he had the sea-bait

She said she was a libra, and that her favourite band was green-day

And she rarely drank either, so that made her a cheap date

They flirted with some cheese-cake

And then they left at nine

And he walked her home back to her road just near Kensal Rise

And just before he kissed her, her little sister ran outside

With tears in her eyes

She said River Phoenix has died
