I see a system which only perpetuates the current dysfunction

Filling our heads with what suits the world

But the world is broken

This world is broken

From the moment we’re born

We’re pushed to learn

Not for the sake of knowledge

But so that we can get in line

So your life can serve their purpose

Seven billion years for us to get to this?

You’re born, you learn

You work, you die

What happened to living?

All I’m asking for is a chance to live my life

I don’t want a single thing that isn’t rightfully mine

I just need some space to breathe

Without the pressure to succeed

I’m trying to find my purpose because what they’re selling’s worthless

The only thing we’re taught is what can be bought

There’s no value in anything else

There’s no free thought

You don’t own your mind

Switch off inside

And just get in line

We are all just walking blind

Left for all the things that you should have done

What we have been taught benefits none
