They say it’s close as anything to earth, hell, heaven and slime

But have you seen it?

We met it once deep in recesses of rest

That’s how we’ve seen it

You say you’ve come in search of truth to attest

But do you mean it?

You spent a month or two awake at night

But it’s no substitute for holding its expanse in your mind’s eye

If you imagine there’s an answer through an open door

You’ll best do well to take the time to go and ask for more
