I saw a house on a shore that was standing tall

And across the water I heard a call

The sound of everything she loved just fell to pieces in the tide

Seasons passed and they shook those walls

Would her heartlast through it all

I waded to my chest, and drowned a little just to watch the fire

So can someone tell me

Why she looks in the mirror thinking it’s her fault

When she was the foundation
